中秋节Mid-Autumn Festival (Bilingual)

Simplified Chinese Characters and Pinyin with English translation. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese Storybook (24 Pages).

中秋节 (Zhōng qiū jié), the Mid-Autumn Festival also known as the Moon Festival or the Mooncake Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. The Mid-Autumn Festival, one of our favourite festivals, is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year. This day is usually celebrated by gathering for reunion dinners, lighting paper lanterns, and admiring the moon while savouring mooncakes- a sweet confectionary made for this occasion. .

This book tells the story of中秋节or Mid-Autumn Festival in simple sentences in Mandarin Chinese with pinyin which will help children at the intermediate level to read by themselves and for reading aloud with beginners new to the language.
